Working Policies
The main function of the information center is to collect reliable information and disseminate them as well. Therefore the Information Center has formulated the following working policies that will made a foundation for strategic planning of the Information Center.
1. To start collection of information on the basis of priority.
2. The information centers which are established in this district will be coordinated for collaboration .
3. The Information center will play a role to link up production sector with the market.
4. VDCs will be motivated for preparing their profiles and disseminating important information.
5. Peoples Representative will be an advisor of this information center.
6. The information which are eligible to disseminate or not will be decided by the management committee of the Information center.
7. The information which is concern of the people will be managed to collect and disseminate.
8. A Web site will be prepared and up linked to disseminate information national and international level.
9. The information center will provide needed facilities and information for a researcher.
10. The Information Center will take the service charge for its sustainability.
11. Those which are providing information in the district such as news papers, radios, Television Broadcaster, Tele communication, post office
12. Women, Dalit, Ethnic people, and poor class people who have conducted especial programs will be in the data base of the Information center and those which are good one will be highlighted to attract others for the exemplary work carried out.
13. The information which helps to enhance the capacity of the people will be collected and disseminated.
14. Information will be collected from the organizations; governmental and non governmental which have direct relation with the people will be disseminated for the people.
15. Himalaya, river, lakes, mountains of the district which are in the list of national and international interest , their information will be collected and discriminated.
16. “Right to information” of the people an awareness program will be conducted and the information on this one will be disciminated.
17. Protection, promotion and development of art, literature, culture and history will be carried out.
18. Statistics of the collected information will be published and broadcasted.
